1. Referring to its Recommendation 1328 (1997) on the state of emergency in Albania, the Assembly resolves to reply positively to the Albanian authorities’ request to take part in the observation of the next parliamentary elections.
2. It instructs the Bureau to draw up a plan to this effect, in consultation with Albania’s parliamentary delegation to the Assembly, and in liaison with the European Parliament and the OSCE Parliamentary Assembly.
