The Assembly,

1. Referring to its Resolution 361(1968),

2. Recommends that the Committee of Ministers invite member Governments :

a to concert by every means at their disposal their attitude towards the present Greek regime ;

b to use all their influence to ensure that Greece returns without delay to a regime which is democratic and parliamentary and respectful of human rights and fundamental freedoms ;

c to see to it that the present Greek regime respects the undertakings it has given concerning the adoption and application of a democratic constitution, and that the promulgation of the Constitution is followed by free elections at the earliest possible date.
