The Assembly,

1. Recalling its Resolution 625 on the implementation of the Final Act of the Conference on Security and Co-operation in Europe,

2. Recommends that the Committee of Ministers invite the governments of the member states :

a to continue to use the Committee of Ministers of the Council of Europe for the periodic exchanges of views and information on the practical follow-up of the CSCE Final Act, with the participation of government experts ;

b to co-ordinate their bilateral and multilateral action in view of the meeting at Belgrade in 1977 which will prepare a first balance-sheet on the implementation of the provisions of the CSCE Final Act ;

3. Further recommends that the Committee of Ministers keep the Assembly regularly informed about the co-operation and co-ordination among member governments in the field of the CSCE follow-up, as well as on action taken by member governments to implement the principles and proposals contained in the Final Act in so far as these fall within their responsibility.
