The Assembly,

1. Having regard to its Resolution 653 (1977), on the 6th Seminar on International Voluntary Service, held from 8 to 12 November 1976 in Strasbourg, and to the report of its Committee on Social and Health Questions (Doc. 3962),

2. Recommends that the Committee of Ministers :

transmit the resolutions adopted by the 6th Seminar on International Voluntary Service and the report on its proceedings to the governments of the Council of Europe member states, with an invitation to follow up the proposals formulated in these texts ;

transmit these resolutions and report to the Council for Cultural Co-operation for opinion, as well as to the Conference of European Ministers of Education for information ;

authorise the Secretary General to provide all administrative assistance and material facilities for the organisation of a seminar on a specific aspect of voluntary service, to be convened under the auspices of the Parliamentary Assembly not later than 1979.
