The Consultative Assembly of the Council of Europe requests the Committee of Ministers:
a to establish a Committee composed of appropriate experts from the nations represented here (one for each country), with a view to drafting the outline of a History of Comparative Civilisations.
b to establish a Committee of men of letters from the nations represented here (one from each country), with a view to preparing a list of works which best illustrate the unchanging values of civilisation.
