In recognition of the shared commitment to democracy, the rule of law, and the protection of human rights, co-operation between the Parliamentary Assembly and the United States Congress should be enhanced. In a world marked by complex challenges to democratic values and human rights, close transatlantic collaboration is essential to strengthening these foundational principles.
