The Assembly,

Considering that the question included in the Agenda of the Assembly on 13th May, 1953, and referred to the Special Committee on Municipal and Regional Affairs namely :

" the establishment of a European Fund for Inter-Municipal Assistance among the local government administrations of Member States, and under the auspices of the Council of Europe, for the provision of immediate and effective financial aid to any European municipality overtaken by disaster ",

would immediately limit the possible scope of such a European fund for inter-municipal assistance,

Resolves to replace this item by the following :

" Establishment of a European Fund for Inter-Municipal Assistance under the auspices of the Council of Europe ".
