May I start with a factual statement, something which may come as a surprise to the rapporteur given that his report so bereft of basic facts about human rights in Northern Ireland. There has been no reversal of human rights in Northern Ireland. That is a fact. The European Convention was enshrined in Northern Ireland law in Section 6 and Section 24 of the 1998 Northern Ireland Act, something which this lawyer appeared not to have read...
