It has an impact on the past because it concerns and brings justice to the case of Sergei Magnitsky and other victims of the violation of human rights, and it brings justice to those people – public officials, dictators, strong men – who believe they can violate human rights without paying any price. It has an impact on the future because it prevents such things from happening in the future...
