Dear colleagues in Strasbourg and all around Europe I would like to support this report and thank the Monitoring Committee and especially the rapporteur. All the 11 plus three monitored countries all show progress and yet there are still difficulties. Sexual harassment is a form of violence. Unfortunately, as the study by the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe and the Inter-Parliamentary Union has shown, incidents of sexual harassment in parliaments are not rare, but rather common.
