24/06/2019 | 19:02:52 I for one, was disappointed that we did not get to celebrate the 70th anniversary of the Council of Europe this morning because since its inception by the great Sir Winston Churchill, this Council has a proud record of working for peace, for the Rule of law and the rules-based international order, for Human rights, for freedom of speech and for equality, and should be very proud of the contrbution it has made over that time to making our continent a safer, more prosperous and more equal place...
