Strasbourg, 28.09.2007 – What is the added value of e-learning? How are the citizens of the Council of Europe member states to be guaranteed access to it? These questions will be central to the first electronic conference which the Committee on Culture, Science and Education of the Council of Europe Parliamentary Assembly (PACE) is to organise on 1 October in Strasbourg .
In connection with the drafting of a report entitled ''Realising the full potential of e-learning at all levels of education'', the rapporteur (Axel Fischer, Germany, EPP/C D ) and the members of the committee will exchange views with experts in the field from Germany, Canada, France, Italy, Poland, the United Kingdom, Switzerland and the United Nations/Japan.
