Strasbourg, 25.03.2011 – PACE President Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu will make a working visit to the Czech Republic from 30 March to 1 April 2011. His schedule includes meetings with the Prime Minister Petr Necas, the President of the Senate Milan Stech, the Vice-President of the Senate Alena Gajduskova, the President of the Chamber of Deputies Miroslava Nemcova, the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Vladimir Galuska, as well as the Mayor of Prague. He will also meet the Czech delegation to the PACE.
In addition, Mr Çavuşoğlu will speak at a conference on "World Finance on the Threshold of the Asian Era", and take part in bilateral meetings with participants in that conference, including the Ukrainian Minister of Finance Fedir Yaroshenko and the Governor of the National Bank of Kazakhstan Grigory Marchenko.
The President of PACE will hold a press briefing with the President and Vice-President of the Czech Senate on Thursday 31 March at 4 pm at the Senate (Valdstejnske namesti, 17/4, Prague).
