Strasbourg, 31.05.2013 – Faced with the desire of many member States to impose on the Council of Europe a biennial budget based on zero nominal growth, and following the proposals by the rapporteur Rudy Salles (France, EPP/CD), the Assembly agreed to reduce its expenditure for 2014 and 2015, both in terms of its staff and its operational activities, the PACE Standing Committee stated today in Erevan.
