Kerstin Lundgren (Sweden, ALDE) will travel to Brussels from 20 to 21 March as part of the preparation of her report on ‘The implementation of the Memorandum of Understanding between the Council of Europe and the European Union’.
Meetings are scheduled notably with the Kinga Goncz, EP Rapporteur on evaluation of justice in relation to criminal justice and the rule of law; Fernando Lopez-Aguilar, Chair of the EP Committee on Civil Liberties, Justice and Home Affairs; Maria Åsenius, Head of Cabinet of Cecilia Malmström, EU Commissioner for Home Affairs; and Telmo Baltazar, Member of the Cabinet and adviser of Viviane Reding, Vice-President of the Commission, responsible for Justice.
