PACE President Pedro Agramunt is to meet Turkish leaders during a series of high-level meetings in Ankara on 1-2 September 2016.
He will also attend a meeting of Presidents of international parliamentary assemblies, at the invitation of the Speaker of Turkey’s Grand National Assembly.
Meetings are foreseen with Turkey’s President, Prime Minister and Foreign Minister, as well as the leaders of the main political parties in parliament and civil society representatives.
