The Council of Europe Parliamentary Assembly today voted against the adoption of a recommendation on ‘Children’s rights related to surrogacy’, based on a report by Petra De Sutter (Belgium, SOC).
Following a debate, with 167 votes cast, the draft text was rejected by 83 votes against, 77 in favour and 7 abstentions.
