Rules Committee delivers findings on some PACE members mentioned in report on alleged corruption

The Rules Committee has delivered its findings on the behaviour of the first three individual PACE members mentioned in the report of the independent investigation body looking into allegations of corruption within the Parliamentary Assembly – and decided to postpone a decision on a fourth.

The committee held hearings with all four members, applying the procedure provided for in cases of alleged breaches of the Code of Conduct.

The committee is due to deliver findings in respect of other members or former members of the Assembly mentioned in the report at future meetings.
