Liliane Maury Pasquier, President of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe (PACE), is to undertake working visits to Portugal (6-8 December) and Estonia (9-10 December).
In Lisbon, she is due to meet the President of the Portuguese Assembly and the Foreign Minister, as well as the members of the Portuguese delegation to PACE. She will also visit the Council of Europe’s North-South Centre, based in the city, and will attend the Congress of the Party of European Socialists (PES).
In Tallinn, the President is due to make a keynote address to a major conference on “Women’s Economic Independence is a Human Right” organised by PACE Vice-President Marianne Mikko. She is also due to meet the Speaker of the Estonian Parliament and Estonia’s Minister for Culture (to be confirmed).
