A 26-member delegation of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe (PACE), led by Mireille Clapot (France, ALDE), will travel to Poland from 13 to 16 October to observe the conduct of the parliamentary elections on 15 October, alongside observers from the OSCE Parliamentary Assembly and the OSCE Office for Democratic Institutions and Human Rights (ODIHR).
The delegation will meet, in particular, the Minister of Digital Affairs, leaders and representatives of political parties, the Chairperson of the National Electoral Commission, as well as representatives of civil society and the media, before observing the ballot on 15 October.
A member of the Venice Commission – the Council of Europe's group of independent legal experts – will provide legal support during the visit.
