1. In
accordance with Rule 6, paragraphs 1 and 4, of the Rules of Procedure,
the President of the Assembly has received the credentials of representatives
and substitutes for the fourth part of the 2009 Ordinary Session of
the Assembly, which have been transmitted in due form by the competent
authorities of member states.
2. The Assembly is called upon to express its decision on the
ratification of the credentials of the representatives and substitutes
whose names are given below.
3. Belgium has appointed
one new substitute to replace Mr Bruno Tobback, who has resigned.
4. Following parliamentary elections, Bulgaria has
appointed a new delegation.
5. Estonia has appointed
one new representative to replace Ms Kristiina Ojuland, who has
resigned.
6. Lithuania has appointed
one new representative to replace Mr Zigmantas Balčytis, who has
resigned.
7. Following parliamentary elections, Luxembourg has
appointed a new delegation.
8. Following parliamentary elections, Moldova has
appointed a new delegation.
9. Following parliamentary elections, Montenegro has
appointed a new delegation.
10. Poland has appointed
two new substitutes to replace Mr Andrzej Grzyb and Ms Danuta Jazłowiecka, who
have resigned, and one substitute has been appointed as a representative.
11. The Slovak Republic has
appointed one new substitute to replace Mr Jaroslav Paška, who has
resigned.
12. Spain has appointed
one new representative and one new substitute, to replace Mr Juan
Fernando Lopez Aguilar and Ms Elvira Cortajarena, who have resigned.
13. Turkey has appointed
one new substitute to replace Mr Cevdet Yilmaz, who has resigned.
14. In the case of objection or justified contestation, the contested
credentials shall be referred without debate to the appropriate
committee which shall report back to the Assembly, in accordance
with Rules 7 and 8 of the Rules of Procedure.
