The Assembly :
Whereas two-thirds of the world's population are still living in poverty;
Whereas all the more prosperous nations of the world have a special responsibility towards the peoples in the process of development,
Instructs its Political Committee, assisted by the Economic and Social Committees, to report, during the next Session, on ways and means whereby the European States can or should concert their assistance to the countries in process of development.
