The Assembly,
1. Having regard to its
Recommendation 871 (1979), on action taken on Assembly recommendations and on relations with the Committee of Ministers,
2. Invites the President of the Assembly to obtain from the Chairman of the Ministers' Deputies at regular intervals information on the action taken by governments on certain recommendations transmitted to them by the Ministers' Deputies ;
3. Invites the Secretary General to ensure that, in keeping with the spirit of Articles 15, 22 and 23 of the Statute, the introductory paragraphs to draft resolutions of the Committee of Ministers should, wherever appropriate, mention the Assembly recommendations on which they are based ;
4. Instructs the Clerk of the Assembly to draw the attention of the Ministers' Deputies to the recommendations selected by the Committee on Parliamentary and Public Relations when those recommendations come up for discussion by the Committee of Ministers ;
5. Invites its own committees to review periodically the previous recommendations of the Assembly arising from their work, with a view to determining what follow-up action should be undertaken.
