2. Instructs its Committee on Regional Planning and Local Authorities and its Legal Affairs Committee to study the role and functions of a mediator for transfrontier affairs to be responsible, in conjunction with the relevant national authorities, for resolving individual difficulties arising out of the continued existence of national frontiers, and to report to it in due course.
