The Assembly,

Sincere in its devotion to the cause of European unity ;

Deeming that the international situation now more than ever demands greater unity among the nations of Europe ;

Welcoming Resolution (59) 30 of the Committee of Ministers, to the effect that they will hold discussions on political questions of common interest to all the Member States of the Council of Europe,

Recommends that the Committee of Ministers hold the discussions envisaged in their Resolution (59) 30, taking account of the relevant Recommendations and Opinions adopted by the Assembly.
