1. The Assembly,
2. Considering that it is of utmost importance, particularly after the failure of the Summit Conference, to maintain and develop broadcasts of authenticated facts to the peoples of Central and Eastern Europe;
3. Recognising and expressing its appreciation for the responsible and sincere way in which the broadcasting organisations consulted by the Committee on Non-represented Nations are carrying out their difficult task;
4. Considering that ever greater coordination is required on the part of the West in this field,
5. Recommends member Governments to support actively efforts at co-operation between the various broadcasting organisations transmitting to Central and Eastern Europe, notably :
a meetings to co-ordinate broadcasting times, schedules and programmes ;
b meetings of technicians to consider ways and means of combating jamming and for technical co-operation in general.
6. Recommends also that at least one broadcasting organisation should broadcast news bulletins in the languages of the Baltic States; Requests member Governments to inform the Assembly at an early date of the steps takenin pursuance of this Recommendation
