The Standing Committee,

Acting on behalf of the Assembly in accordance with Order No. 185 ;

Having regard to the opinions expressed by the Legal Committee (Doc. 1798) and the Cultural and Scientific Committee (Doc. 1799),

Recommends that the Committee of Ministers grant consultative status with the Council of Europe to the following non-governmental organisations :

Category I :

Amnesty International

Category II :

Information and Liaison Centre for Teachers' Organisations ;

Catholic International Education Office ;

Co-ordinating Secretariat of National Unions of Students ;

International Federation of Secondary Teachers (FIPESO) ;

European Secretariat of the International Young Catholic Students.
