The Assembly
Welcomes the agreement on disarmament principles recently concluded between the Governments of the United States and the Soviet Union, and earnestly hopes that this will lead without delay to a nuclear test ban agreement, as a first step towards a multilateral general disarmament agreement under strict and effective international control.
