Mr McNamara,

To ask the Committee of Ministers,

What steps Ireland has committed to taking to abide by the judgment of the Court in the case of A, B & C v Ireland (16 December 2010) where it concluded that the Irish authorities had failed to respect the private life of the third applicant by reason of the absence of any implementing legislative or regulatory regime providing an accessible and effective procedure by which the third applicant could have established whether she qualified for a lawful abortion in Ireland in accordance with Article 40.3.3 of the Constitution of Ireland, wherein the State acknowledges the right to life of the unborn and, with due regard to the equal right to life of the mother, guarantees in its laws to respect and, as far as practicable, by its laws to defend and vindicate that right;

What follow-up the Committee of Ministers envisages in the case of A, B & C v Ireland (16 December 2010) in the light of the CM-DH meeting on 4-6 December 2012?
