1 Report of the Committee on the Election of Judges to the European Court of Human Rights

The Committee on the Election of Judges to the European Court of Human Rights held a meeting in a hybrid manner on 14 April 2022, with Mr Titus Corlăţean (Romania, Socialists, Democrats and Greens Group) in the Chair.

It assessed the list of the candidates to the Court in respect of Ukraine. [(1) See Appendix 1 for the list of candidates submitted by the Government of Ukraine. The full list and curricula vitae of candidates can be found in Assembly document: Doc. 15485.]

2 Conclusions of the committee on the list of candidates submitted by Ukraine

The committee interviewed all the candidates on 14 April 2022.

The committee recommends to the Assembly, by a very large majority, Mr Mykola GNATOVSKYY as the most qualified candidate.
