In the draft resolution, paragraph 1, replace the last sentence with the following words:

"The Assembly welcomes the current cease fire agreement and scheduled hostage release plan agreed between Israel and Palestine and hopes that a lasting peace in the Middle East can be built from this process."

Explanatory note

The ceasefire needs to be mentioned in the resolution, otherwise it will be out of date.
