In the draft resolution, paragraph 9, first sentence, replace the words "and in the light of the further dramatic deterioration in the humanitarian situation in Gaza, the Assembly urges all parties to the hostilities, in particular Israel to" with the following words:

"the Assembly urges all parties to the hostilities to"

Explanatory note

All parties in a conflict should have the same and equal responsibility to honour international law and norms.
