"However, there is clear evidence of UNRWA workers actively participating in the October 7th attack on Israel, as well as of Hamas operations from within UNRWA schools and compounds, which put its workers under severe threat. Recently, there were additional attempts by Hamas to abuse the humanitarian infrastructure in the Gaza Strip. The Assembly continues to call on all international organisations operating in Gaza to submit their lists of employees for security screening to ensure that their important work is not infiltrated by terrorists".
Security concerns regarding UNRWA need to be addressed and dealt with in order to restore UNRWA's credibility.
