Strasbourg, 03.11.2008 – Serhiy Holovaty (Ukraine, ALDE), Chair of the Monitoring Committee of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe (PACE), will be making a fact-finding visit to Skopje on 3-5 November 2008, within the framework of the post-monitoring dialogue with “the former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia”. Discussions are scheduled with, among others, the President of the Republic, President of the Assembly, Prime Minister, Deputy Prime Minister responsible for European integration, Minister of Foreign Affairs, Minister of the Interior, Minister of Justice, Minister of Local Self-Government and President of the Supreme Court. He will also have discussions with the Ombudsman and with representatives of political parties, the media, civil society and the diplomatic corps.
