Marie-Louise Bemelmans-Videc (Netherlands, EPP/CD), PACE rapporteur on guaranteeing the authority and effectiveness of the ECHR, will address a conference held in the context of the UK Chairmanship of the Committee of Ministers entitled "2020 Vision for the European Court of Human Rights".
The conference is being organised by Wilton Park, an agency of the Foreign & Commonwealth Office which offers a debating platform on political, economic and security issues. This conference follows on from those held in Interlaken (February 2010) and Izmir (April 2011) on the future of the European Court of Human Rights.
