Strasbourg, 28.03.2013 – Jean-Claude Mignon, President of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe (PACE), will make an official visit to Norway on 4-5 April 2013.
During his visit, he will have an audience with Harald V, King of Norway, and hold a series of parliamentary exchanges, in particular with the President of the Storting (the Norwegian Parliament), the Standing Committee on Foreign Affairs and Defence and the Norwegian delegation to PACE. The PACE President will also be meeting the State Secretary for Foreign Affairs.
This visit will also include talks with the President and Vice-President of the Nordic Council, the Director of the Nobel Institute and the Director of the European Wergeland Centre (resource centre for education in intercultural understanding, human rights and democratic citizenship, set up by the Norwegian authorities and the Council of Europe).
