03/04/2013 Election observation
Strasbourg, 03.04.2013 – A six-member delegation from the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe (PACE), led by Christopher Chope (United Kingdom, EDG), will be visiting Montenegro from 5 to 8 April 2013 to observe the presidential election alongside observers from the OSCE Office for Democratic Institutions and Human Rights (ODIHR).
The delegation members will hold talks with the main candidates in the election, the Chair of the Central Electoral Commission, representatives of the international community in Podgorica, as well as NGO and media representatives, before observing the ballot on 7 April.
A press conference is scheduled at midday (time to be confirmed) on Monday 8 April at the Hotel Podgorica (Bul. Sv. Petra Cetinjskog 1, Podgorica).
