Strasbourg, 21.02.2014 – Anne Brasseur, President of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe (PACE), made the following statement today:
“The agreement reached in Ukraine must – first and and foremost – guarantee an end to the violence.
All the parties should, from now on, act responsibly by respecting the terms of this compromise, in the interest of all Ukrainians.
The Parliamentary Assembly stands ready to assist the Verkhovna Rada with all its efforts to find solutions to end this crisis, and to rebuild confidence in institutions.”
