Egidijus Vareikis (Lithuania, EPP/CD) and Sir Roger Gale (United Kingdom, EDG), co-rapporteurs for the monitoring of Bosnia and Herzegovina by the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe (PACE), will make a fact-finding visit to the country from 7 to 9 July, to assess the implementation of its commitments and obligations as a Council of Europe member state.
In Sarajevo, the two parliamentarians will meet members of the Presidency (to be confirmed), the Foreign Minister, the President of the Constitutional Court, the State Prosecutor and the head of the Central Election Commission, as well as the High Representative.
In Travnik (8 July), they are due to meet the Mayor (to be confirmed) and the Education Minister of the Central Bosnia Canton.
