Current affairs debate on the recent tensions between Pristina and Belgrade

Debate: Environmental impact and armed conflicts Presentation by Mr John HOWELL, United Kingdom, EC/AD, rapporteur, AS/Soc

“I asked for this debate, because I think it is important that the Council of Europe keep an eye on and keep abreast of the tensions that there are in Europe. Nobody who has looked at Serbia and Kosovo over recent months can believe that there are no tensions. There are tensions. We need, very much, to be ahead of the game”, today said John Howell (United Kingdom, EC/DA) opening a debate on the recent tensions between Pristina and Belgrade.

18 speakers took the floor during the debate.

No report is prepared for a current affairs debate and no text is adopted.
