1. In accordance with Rule 6 of the Rules of Procedure, the Committee responsible for the examination of credentials examined those of the new Representatives and Substitutes appointed to the Consultative Assembly of the Council of Europe.

2. Greece, the Netherlands and Norway have transmitted new credentials certified by their Ministers for Foreign Affairs.

a Greece has appointed new Representatives and Substitutes as a result of general elections.

b The Netherlands have appointed M. Tjalma as substitute in place of M. Rip, who has resigned.

c Norway has appointed MM. Kvamme and Leirfall as substitutes in place of MM. Bondevik and Haugeland, who have resigned.

3. No objection having been raised, the Committee unanimously proposed t h a t the Assembly confirm the validity of the appointment of the following Representatives and Substitutes :
