Adopted 24th August 1950, at the conclusion of the Debate on the Report from the Committee on Cultural and Scientific Questions.

The Assembly,

Having noted the replies returned by the Permanent Commission of the Brussels Treaty Powers to the questions submitted to it by a Representative to the Consultative Assembly,

Recommends to the Committee of Ministers to invite the Permanent Commission to keep the Secretariat-General in periodic touch with its cultural activities with a view to the eventual conclusion by the Member States of the Council of Europe of cultural conventions identical or similar to those existing among the Brussels Treaty Powers.
