Consultative status to be granted to international non-governmental organisations

The Standing Committee,

1. Acting on behalf of the Consultative Assembly, in accordance with Order No. 185;

2. Having regard to the opinions expressed by the Legal Affairs Committee (Doc. 2474), the Committee on Agriculture (Doc. 2424) and the Committee on Social and Health Questions (Doc. 2478),

3. Recommends that the Committee of Ministers grant consultative status with the Council of Europe to the international non-governmental organisations named below :

Category I

International Association of Lawyers,

Category II

International Movement of Catholic Agricultural and Rural Youth ;

4. Recommends that the Committee of Ministers reject the application for consultative status submitted by the World Movement of Mothers.
