1. In accordance with Rule 6 of the Rules of Procedure, the Committee responsible for the examination of credentials examined those of the new Representatives and Substitutes appointed to the Consultative Assembly of the Council of Europe as a result of death or resignations.
2. Austria, the Federal Republic of Germany, Greece, Luxembourg, the Netherlands and the United Kingdom have transmitted new credentials certified by their Ministers for Foreign Affairs.
3. (a) Austria has appointed M. Mark as full member in place of M. Pittermann, who has resigned.
(b) The Federal Republic of Germany has appointed M. Furler as full member in place of M. Lenz, deceased.
(c) Greece has appointed M. Kallias as full member in place of M. Yerocostopoulos, who has resigned.
(d) Luxembourg has appointed M. Grégoire, as a Substitute to replace M. Loesch, who has resigned.
(e) The Netherlands has appointed M. Korthals as full member in place of Mme. Stof-fels-van Haaften, who has resigned, and M. Pa-tijn as a Substitute in place of M. Ruygers, who has also resigned.
(f) The United Kingdom has appointed Mr. Armstrong as a Substitute in place of Mr. Grosvenor, who has resigned.
4. No objection having been raised, the Committee unanimously proposes that the Assembly confirm the validity of the appointment of the following Representatives and Substitutes :
