1. In accordance with Rule 6, paragraphs 1 and 3, of the Rules of Procedure, the President of the Assembly has received the credentials of representatives and substitutes for the fourth part of the 2008 Ordinary Session of the Assembly, which have been transmitted in due form by the competent authorities of member states.

2. The Assembly is called upon to express its decision on the ratification of the credentials of the representatives and substitutes whose names are given below.

3. Following the resignation of Mr Artashes Avoyan, Armenia has appointed one new substitute.

4. Following parliamentary elections, Georgia has appointed a new delegation.

5. Following the resignation of Mr Anastassios Papaligouras and of Mr Konstantinos Gioulekas, Greece has appointed one new representative and one new substitute.

6. Following parliamentary elections, Italy has appointed a new delegation.

7. Following the resignation of Mr Leo Brincat and Mrs Dolores Cristina, Malta has appointed two new substitutes.

8. Following the resignation of Mr Roland Kortenhorst, the Netherlands have appointed one new substitute.

9. Following the resignation of Ms Ruth Genner, Switzerland has appointed one new substitute.

10. Following parliamentary elections, “the former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia” has appointed a new delegation.

11. Following the resignation of Mr James Gray and the nomination of Mr Andrew McIntosh as representative, the United Kingdom has appointed two new substitutes.

12. In the case of objection or justified challenge, the challenged credentials shall be referred without debate to the appropriate committee which shall report to the Assembly, in accordance with Rules 7 and 8 of the Rules of Procedure.
