1. The Committee of Ministers considers
that it is not for it to take position on statements made by the
public authorities of member states as long as these statements
do not call into question the obligations and commitments which
member States have undertaken when acceding to the Council of Europe.
2. From this perspective, the statement mentioned by the Honourable
Parliamentarian does not call for any comments.
