Examination of credentials of representatives and substitutes

1. In accordance with Rule 6, paragraphs 1 and 4, of the Rules of Procedure, the President of the Assembly has received the credentials of representatives and substitutes which have been transmitted in due form by the competent authorities of member states for ratification by the Standing Committee.
2. The Standing Committee, acting on behalf of the Assembly, is called upon to take a decision on the ratification of the credentials of the representatives and substitutes whose names are given below.
3. Bosnia and Herzegovina has appointed a new representative to fill a vacant seat.
4. Croatia has appointed three new representatives and five new substitutes following the resignation of Mr Milorad Pupovac, and to fill seven vacant seats.
5. Denmark has appointed a new substitute following the resignation of Mr Esben Lunde Larsen.
6. Germany has appointed a new substitute to fill a vacant seat.
7. Hungary has appointed a new substitute following the resignation of Ms Virág Kaufer.
8. Italy has appointed a new substitute following the resignation of Mr Dario Franceschini and the appointment of a substitute as a representative.
9. Luxembourg has appointed a new representative following the resignation of Ms Lydie Err.
10. The Russian Federation has appointed 8 new representatives and 15 new substitutes following the resignations of Mr Konstantin Kosachev, Mr Alexander Babakov, Mr Valeriy Fedorov, Mr Yury Isaev, Mr Oleg Panteleev, Mr Ziyad Sabsabi, Mr Oleg Lebedev, Mr Valery Seleznev, Mr Vyacheslav Timchenko and Mr Dmitry Vyatkin, and to fill 13 vacant seats. Two substitutes have been appointed representatives.
11. Spain has appointed seven new representatives and four new substitutes following the resignations of Mr Juan Moscoso del Prado, Mr Alejandro Alonso, Mr Gaspar Llamazares, Mr Gonzalo Robles and Mr Joan Sabaté, and to fill seven vacant seats. Four representatives have been appointed substitutes. One seat of substitute remains vacant.
12. In case of objection or justified contestation, the contested credentials shall be referred without debate to the appropriate committee, which shall report back to the Assembly in accordance with Rules 7 and 8 of the Rules of Procedure.
