The Assembly,

Having considered the report on the stabilisation of commodity prices and markets and related matters taken up at the UN Conference on Trade and Development (Doc. 1733),

Instructs the Economic Committee to continue its examination of matters taken up at the UN Conference on Trade and Development in the light of the debate in the Assembly, with particular reference to the stabilisation of commodity prices and markets and related matters, and to report back in due course.

Certain financial and economic aspects of air transport operations

The Assembly instructs its President to transmit to the European Civil Aviation Conference the Recommendation on European civil aviation together with the accompanying report (Doc. 1734) with a request that ECAC inform the Consultative Assembly of the Council of Europe in due course of any conclusions it has reached on the report.

The Assembly,

Having regard to the Recommendation and the report on European civil aviation,

Instructs the Economic Committee to continue its work on European civil aviation problems with particular regard to the reactions of member Governments, airlines of member Governments, and the European Civil Aviation Conference to the report on financial and economic aspects of air transport operations (Doc. 1734) and to the accompanying Recommendation and to report further to the Assembly in due course.

The problem of leisure

The Assembly,

Taking note with satisfaction of the Social Committee report on the problem of leisure, and of the opinion of the Cultural Committee,

1. Instructs the Secretary-General to publish this report in the form of an illustrated booklet similar to that made from the Cultural Committee report on "The Preservation and Development of Ancient Buildings and Historical or Artistic Sites" and ensure that it is distributed as widely as possible ;

2. Instructs its Social Committee and its Cultural and Scientific Committee to continue in collaboration, and with a view to the future, their study of the question, with the help - if need be - of independent experts ;

3. Instructs its Cultural and Scientific Committee to ensure that liaison is maintained, in making these studies, with the Council for Cultural Co-operation.
