The Assembly,
1. Recalling its Recommendations 684 (1972) and 703 (1973), on international terrorism ;
2. Deploring the continuation of international terrorist acts arising from the Middle East conflict ;
3. Taking note of the repeated statements of the President of Egypt and other political personalities of the Arab world, condemning acts of violence and terrorism committed throughout the world by extremist commandos in the name of the "Palestinian cause",
4. Instructs its Political Affairs Committee to set up a working party with instructions :
a to make contact with authorities in the Arab world to investigate the feasibility of co-operating with certain Arab countries in direct action against terrorism ;
b to report to the Political Affairs Committee and to the Bureau of the Assembly ; and
c to submit concrete proposals for closer co-operation of this sort at intergovernmental level
