The Assembly,
1. Mindful of the sufferings endured by the civilian population in various regions of Lebanon, in particular Beirut ;
2. Recalling that thousands of Lebanese citizens have been forced to leave their homes and seek refuge in Cyprus and other member countries of the Council of Europe,
3. Instructs its Committee on Migration, Refugees and Demography to consider what concrete measures the Committee of Ministers and the governments of member states could be recommended to take in order to come to the aid of Lebanese civilians fleeing the conflict, and to present its proposals to the Assembly as soon as possible.
